My entrance into the online scene was initially to make some money. You see I am a domestic manager full time, part time account executive for my father's company and currently a blogger.

I've always wanted to be a writer but haven't gotten much chance to be one. So blogging provided an outlet for me to write. Hopefully I wish to make some money too from this activity.

Ok so in my journey towards making money from the internet. I've come across lots of stuff. Almost everyone wants to me to fill in their subsciber list or opt ins to get my e-mail address and send me all their newsletters. So I end up flooded with e-mails and confused.

Then one day, I came across Rob Toth's audio interviews on the GURUS of Internet marketing who share their tips about making money online. The one thing that they share in common with regards to why so many failed to make money online is that :-

• They lose focus from too much information - need to FOCUS

This is one thing that is still haunting me now

I get too many e-mails from people trying to sell their products online. Everything looks so appealing and everyone promises that their products will flood your bank account with money.

So the Gurus tips about this is to FOCUS. Try one stategy at one time and stick with it for some time rather than try everything at once and not achieving much but get confused and overwhelmed with everything.

• Not taking action and being too perfect - Take ACTION

The gurus felt that some people was taking too much time to get whatever they wanted to sell be it a product, e-book or website to look so perfect that they fail to lauch it at all. Or they miss out on being the pioneer to that whatever they wanted to sell and indirectlly lose out to capture the market.

So the big tip here is - Don't worry to get your stuff to PERFECT. Just get it out there as fast as you can because the internet is a very fast paced and changing industry that you might fail to capture the market or worse you might get tired, lost interest and decide to give up.

• Not enough knowledge - Commit yourself Learn & Implement

Whether you like it or not, this is important because if you don't know the basic things like how to blog, how to upload a picture or insert a video or how to get traffic to your site then it will be tough to make money online. You might have to pay IT experts to get your website up,update website content or how to market your product online, how to capture leads and eventually convert your leads to Sales.

The Gurus advice on this problem - Take the effort to learn the basics about how to make money online. You can do this by googling on how to do - whatever that you wanna learn to do for example if you want to learn how to get upload a video to your site. You can look for articles about it, or download a free e-book, or easier watch a youtube video on how to upload a video to your site.

What ever it is take the time to learn each day. Take baby steps to learn as much as you can BUT remember to take time to put what you learn into ACTION aswell. I know that many people wish to make money as much as possible, as fast as possible and as easy as possible but like one Guru advice on this issue is that there are no shortcuts to making money online. There is no magic pill that can suddenly flood your bank account with money. Everybody needs to start somewhere even the experts.

You need to learn how to make money online be it via selling your own products, affiliate marketing or whatever. You have to start somewhere. You need to either sacrifice your time and energy to learn how to make money online or sacrifice money if you don't have the time and energy and wish to hire experts to do the work for you.

Whatever you do remember to Focus, Learn & take Action to make money online.
